Busy Around Here

Well, it's been busy here at Herding Cats. Nanny G has had to move on to more gainful employment per the advice of her immigration lawyer. My mom was here for a week and left last Wednesday. Of course, RIGHT after she left, the weather got very nice. Weather has a way of doing that when you have visitors.

So right now we are nannyless. We're trying to get Nanny A. back from Peru. She wasn't planning on coming to the U.S. right away but when she heard her old job opened, she was very enthusiastic.

It would be just a little bit easier around here if the Branch would decide to walk. Any advice on getting the boy to walk? He does walk when someone stands behind him holding his hands, and he can push wheeled toys in the house. Yes, he's almost 15 months and 39 pounds...I know the extra pounds don't help. The Blossom walks around like she owns this joint. Now it's become "Herding Blossom"...

So much going on for you. Good luck with the Nanny situation and as far as little Branch walking, he's still VERY young and he's a big little guy. Just the fact that he walks pushing something or holding hands means he knows what to do, just doesn't feel the push just yet. Plus, he's got Blossom running around taking card of business! Sounds like a very smart little guy to me!

Hm. If you learn of any tricks, pass them on! We're going on 16 months here people, 16 months!!

And I never previously realised how heavy 39 pounds is. Oh my God!!! Hugo is 10 pounds lighter than him.

Good luck with finding a nanny too! I don't know how you do it.

Lin: Actually, we just found out Nanny A. will return at the end of the month.

Kazumi: See where Groovyvic said just keep him practicing with pushable toys.

Groovyvic: I'm so envious when I see people with 10 month old kids that are already walking. Ack!
