Found It On The Internet

Aha! On the Internet, anything is possible. I located the mysterious Korean movie I wrote about on the meme from Lin on February 15. The movie is called "Chunhyang", and available on Yesasia.com

I found it while reading an article on Korea Times Online about the art director who worked on "Chunhyang" and other films.

Junebee, I just added this movie to my Netflix que! It received a nomination for the Cannes Film Festival and from your description it sounds like a movie I would enjoy. I love foreign films!

Black Feline: Yesasia.com does have the "Jewel..." episodes divided into 3 sets. These sound fantastic but the price is a bit out of range, will save for my Christmas wish list this year!

Lin: See below where Crystal can get "Chunhyung" thru Netflix. DVD rental stores with big foreign film sections might have it too.

Crystal: Hope you like the movie. I haven't seen anything like it.
