Here We Go. Again.

Oh no! Here it comes - again! The stupid changing of the clocks! I hate this, I'm always grouchy for about 2 weeks (well, grouchier than normal!) and it's so hard to get Branch and Blossom on a new schedule.

The way I see it is there are 24 hours in a day no matter where you put 'em. You still have to work, the same chores have to be done, etc. I'm in a much better mood when I can wake up in the light, but now it's going to be dark in the morning. I really don't care if it's dark early at night. That's what headlights and indoor lights are for.

Kia Ora (Hello) from a blogger down under in New Zealand. Yes there is 24 hours in the day - 8 hours to work, 8 hours to play and 8 hours to sleep the night away !!!

I don't do well with the time change either. I just read the the state of Indiana is joining the daylight savings time this year. What in the world were they thinking?

Now my kids will be out at the bus stop in the dark agian, and will want to stay outside until it gets dark at night. It really messes up the schedule I have worked so hard to keep up.

I know with babies it's even harder. Their sleep patterns get really wonky, and that makes everyone ouchie and ornery!

I'm flying to Las Vegas tonight, so ... add a three hour time difference on top of the DLS, and I expect I'm going to be a bit disoriented for awhile!

Kevlin: Thanks for stopping in. Sadly, I'm a parent so those 8 hours are not so neatly divided up for me!

Wendy: And next year it will be worse, lasting from March to November.

Spiderwalk: Kids here are ALWAYS out at the bus stop at dark. It's one of the problems with the school system around here.

Empress Baggie: A community service, courtesy of Herding Cats.

Black Feline: I know, other parts of the world don't participate in this tomfoolery. I wouldn't miss it if se didn't have it.

Stringman: Have a most excellent trip!

Taran Jordan: Glad to find a fellow time-change hater. Everyone's always giddy about having more light at night. Not me. That's why God invented headlights and electricity.
