Ahn scores!

My soccer honey Ahn Jung-Hwan (right) scored the winning goal in South Korea's World Cup game against Togo. A bright spot in an otherwise unvacationlike vacation. The Citizen's and my big romantic getaway was watching the Australia-Japan game at the Korean laundromat while I washed a week's worth of vacation clothes yesterday morning...

Laundry... how romantic!

I totally understand your 'unvactionlike vacation'. Luc and I experienced the same thing when we went to Canada. In fact, I don't think we had any time to ourselves as even when we tried to 'escape' to the mall, Luc's younger eight and eleven year old cousins would come along. I valued the time with everyone but it didn't really feel like a holiday.

Nevertheless, I hope you're enjoying time with the family!

Vacations are odd things when you have children! Exhausting business.

It's all World Cup here, as well. Soon it will be World Cup, Tour de France AND Wimbledon!

Hey Junebee.

Sorry to hear that the vacation is "unvacationlike"...

We've got World Cup Central here at work...One of my English co-workers has booked each of England's games off...So he won't be in tomorrow...

We drew teams randomly and I ended up with Trinidad and Tobago...My only hope of winning anything is if they allow the most goals...So go England! (They play each other tomorrow)...

Take care out there, Junebee and thanks for the update on your adventures!

Your Pal,

Zambo.

Somehow once kids enter the scene vacations become more work and less relaxing.
I am glad your laundry is caught up....hahaaa!!

I really don't think you can use the word 'vacation' when there are children involved. We have to come up with another word. Enjoy what remains!
