Anti-War Pigs

How low can people go? Hate mail was sent to an injured soldier per this story on Fox News.com. Americans should still be cringing like scolded dogs about the way Vietnam War veterans were treated upon their arrival home. Looks like things haven't progressed much, what with all the protests at soldier's funerals and whatnot. You needn't support the war to support the men and women in uniform who are fighting it out over there so we don't have to fight it out over here. Like my mother always said, if you can't say anything nice, keep your mouth (or your pen) shut.

Pick one of the names from the list, and if you have an extra Christmas card, send it to one of them.

I agree with you 100%! I have the site bookmarked and will be sending out a card this holiday season.

Pigs indeed ... we should all be outraged. Nice idea to suggest the card. I just sent mine off. I hope they all get millions of them. Love the blog name -- one of my favorite concepts!

That is SO wrong. Seriously.

We just had a disabled ski event here and there were A LOT of soldiers in attendance. All the love in the world to them, particularly during the holiday season.

This looks like an isoloated case btw, and obviously most Americans are smart enough to realize that it is the politicians who start wars and not the soldiers. I'm a 30% disabled vet, lost all the vision in my right eye during a Marine explosions demo, and I think people would be even more outraged if they knew of the paltry pay America gives its disabled vets! You have people in wheelchairs and they only get about $800/mo in disability, and I feel that this country really needs a mandatory draft to ensure that EVERYBODY shoulders the burden of protecting the nation, and not just the rural & the poor.
